You could try to mix setups, like using spring settings from set "A" and gearbox setting from set "B" and see what you prefer. Or just stick with 1 set, drive as much as possible with it untill you think you're not improving anymore, and then start to change little things, if it doesn't get better, make sure you remember the old settings though
Also, there are some good setup tutorials around. And most of the basic car handling tutorials might help you too, it's no rocket science, it just takes a bit practice

I think you are just running to much wing on the rear and maybe on the front too. You say you have higher corner speeds but can't do anything on straights so I would try to reduce the downforce just little by little, try to find a nice balance between straight speed and corner speeds.

Are you sure Vain? Never ever saw a camouflaged car driving on tourifahrt-days. I think it would be a big risk too, seeing most test drivers know the track very well, and then coming across blind bikers and tour-busses doesn't help testing alot, I think

They still have industry-pool days, and many manufacturers still test. BMW have their test station just about 500meters away and race teams like Edo and Manthey still test alot. On a mid-week day you can spot many scoop/camouflaged cars too, so it's not like nothing happens there

Yes but you would have to rent the track for yourself, which is quite expensive Usually it's open for public, it's a public toll-road. On these days all vehicles have to be road legal and German traffic law rules apply on these days too, so no slicks etc. etc.

To be honest, I don't really experience much difference. Although the RB4 and XRT seem to be a bit faster then before (easier?), the FXO is much easier to drive on the limit. When driving the XRT and exiting a corner just perfect, it's very rewarding and big fun ! But the party usually ends up very fast when a FXO is on your tail.

BTW : I still see lots "closed diff" setups.

A average driver can get more out of good tyres then a complex (read: adjustable/good/expensive) suspension setup. Especially @ auto-x.
